Rea Vaya to help business

MELVILLE- From Sandton to Soweto, Rea Vaya opens Melville’s doors.

As the Rea Vaya bus system pulls into Melville, business owner Cedric de la Harpe sees it as an opportunity to grow tourism in the area.

“Im very excited about Rea Vaya coming through Melville because the initiative opens the doors of the community to other area’s using the city’s public transport system. In the long run this helps to develop Melville as an accommodation destination,” he said.

De la Harpe, Westdene resident and operator of Taste of Africa Tours, noted that now visitors and residents can travel from O.R Tambo Airport to Melville using Johannesburg’s public transport systems- Gautrain and Rea Vaya.

“Melville will be easily accessible from many places, from Sandton to Soweto, and these opened opportunities can benefit the entire community.”
