More suspects brought to book by CAP
EMMARENTIA - Community driven crime solution, Community Active Protection, bears fruit.
Nine suspects have been taken into custody in the past weeks following joint operations between the Parkview police and security company Community Active Protection throughout Gauteng.
After months of information and evidence collection the four operations took more than 35 hours and consisted of a team of about 20 men.
All nine suspects are believed to be linked to high profile criminal groups, including hijacking and home invasion syndicates that operated in Emmarentia and other areas. Two suspects linked to robberies at intersections were also arrested.
The security company has a strong relationship with all police stations in its areas and the new partnership in Emmarentia Greenside is gaining momentum in the quest to eradicate crime.
