‘SA’s Got talent’ is back for a smoking hot season

AUCKLAND PARK- Auditions for 2014 'SA’s got talent' to be hosted at UJ.

AUCKLAND PARK – Want to be on TV? Here is a chance to be part of the audience for the third season of SA’s Got Talent.

If interested, you have to be at the University of Johannesburg Arts Theatre on 2 or 3 August. You will have a chance to be part of two sessions, first session from 7am to 1pm and the second session from 1pm to 7pm.

You can book seats via email with your name, contact number and your city and the session you will like to attend.

For this event, no children under the age of eight are allowed. Guests should be neatly dressed and no hats or caps may be won during shoots. No smoking, food or drinks will be allowed in the venue. Taking photographs or any form of sound or visual recording will be strictly forbidden.

A full spectrum of new and outrageous talent is expected when the third season premiers on Sunday, 7 September at 6 pm on e.tv.

According to the organisers’ Facebook page, the nationwide pre-auditions have been completed and the talent is as diverse as expected – ranging from singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other mesmerising talents that are eager to win the R250 000 grand prize.

SA’s Got Talent will this year have two new judges: Lalla Hirayama and DJ Fresh, who will join veteran media consultant Shado Twala on the judging panel, bringing their expertise and valuable experience to the table. The twosome replace musician Kabelo Mabalane and Ian von Memerty, who have been with the show for the past two seasons. Comedian Tats Nkonzo is retained as the host, adding his own flavour to the show’s already exciting line-up.

The show organisers say fans can expect new approaches to judging, wacky acts, outstanding performances and the widest variety and talent.

The show has also found a new home at a world class venue – the Soweto Theatre in Dube in Soweto. However, only the finals will be held at the theatre.

“This is e.tv’s flagship programme that has been receiving tremendous support from the South African public for two years. It is the kind of show that evokes emotions, excitement and pride in the calibre of talent that gets exposed,” said Monde Twala, Group Head of the e.tv Channels Division.
