Often residents call or write to their local City councillor, clicking their fingers and demanding that councillors have their issue fixed without delay.

Well, if we could, we would and we certainly try our best!

However, with the current administration and levels of service delivery, getting issues resolved in the City of Johannesburg is no easy task.

Issues brought to the attention of councillors are usually already known to councillors and have already been brought to the City officials’ attention.

Due to the lack of resources, budget, political will or care issues remain unresolved often for months, if not, years.

If you think that service delivery is low currently, we expect it to get even worse.
