GALLERY and VIDEO: Let’s go bowling

NORTHCLIFF – Central Gauteng Tenpin Bowling Association has singles tournament.

The incredible spectacle of the Central Gauteng Singles Tournament at Northcliff Corner Shopping Centre left spectators in awe.

Tenpin bowling for many people may just be a fun social event to enjoy with the family or friends, however, the Central Gauteng Tenpin Bowling Association (CGTBA) showed how much science, skill and precision it truly takes.

President of the association Allan Kewely said, “We love to show people how much fun bowling can be. The members here are both professionals and amateurs and you can really see how seriously they take this exciting sport. One of our bowlers bowls at speeds of 45km/h.”

The tournament consisted of a multi-division, a closed division, and a singles division. Closed tournaments are compulsory to CG10pin criterium, if a member wishes to be considered for full colours.
