MELVILLE – Youtube star Suzelle launches her first 'Do It Yourself' book at the Bamboo Lifestyle Centre in Melville.
Well-known Youtube star Suzelle launched her first Do It Yourself (DIY) book on 15 October at the Bamboo Lifestyle Centre in Melville.
Suzelle originally from Somerset West, said her love for DIY comes from her curiosity on how to do things without having to buy it.
“I have always loved to cook and make things, therefore I realised how many things I can actually do myself,” she said.

Suzelle said there is no defying moment, of when she exactly decided to be a DIY person, but she always knew she would be great at it.
She said when she is not doing DIY videos, she works at a guesthouse.
“Working at the reception of a guesthouse gives me a lot of spare time which I can use to browse the internet, cut out articles in magazines and test certain things. I have an entire collection I keep in a file,” explained Suzelle.
She further added that she is also a very green person and likes to re-use items.
“It is very important to me to save the environment so when I get the chance to recycle items I do,” said Suzelle.
Her future plans are to travel and make videos of foods and other things that is not South African.
She concluded that she appreciates her fans a lot, especially South Africans who live abroad and thank her for making them feel at home online.
The book is available at different bookshops in South Africa.
