Security is priority at Cresta
CRESTA – Management of Cresta Shopping Centre ensures its customers that it has upgraded its security measures.
The newly revamped Cresta Shopping Centre promises a new standard in shopping, entertainment and security.
The management issued a statement reassuring the customers that their safety is important and they have improved security features.

General manager Virginia Bester said at Cresta Shopping Centre safety is a top priority for their guests and their property and they hold themselves to the highest standards.
“Our industry-leading security features include highly visible, highly trained, professional and non-intrusive security personnel that are always on hand to attend to customer’s needs. The operative premise is prevention and being proactive, rather than reactive at all times. We adjust and enhance our security practices as needed,” said Bester.

The security infrastructure has been upgraded to include, but not limited to:
· A boundary fence and an armed response vehicle on site
· New and improved security cameras and surveillance systems
· A new communication system for the Centre’s high-calibre officers and well-trained security guards
· New exterior lighting
· Anti-jamming devices in the parking areas for peace of mind and convenience of guests
· Additional guards and marshals have been put on site to respond to any eventualities during the holiday season.
Bester concluded, “Our state-of-the-art security control room employs the latest technology and monitors the numerous cameras located throughout the parking areas, corridors and common areas. This is to ensure that we maintain the safe and enjoyable experience of guests and tenants for which we have come to be known over our 40 years of existence.”
While there is no 100 per cent full-proof security system in the world, Cresta Shopping Centre is doing its best to ensure a safe holiday shopping experience.
