Abbotts College Northcliff obtains 100 per cent pass rate

NORTHCLIFF – Kayla Liverdos leads the way at Abbotts College Northcliff.

Abbotts College Northcliff obtained a 100 per cent pass rate, when their Matric results were revealed on 6 December.

All of the 97 full-time Matric pupils wrote their examinations.

Pupil Kayla Liverdos from Struben’s Valley is on top of them all at the College, with five distinctions.

Liverdos’ subjects were English, Afrikaans, mathematical literacy, life orientation, life sciences, business studies and history.

She is planning to study B Com Economics, B Com Management or occupational therapy at Varsity College or Wits University.

“I love business and the corporate environment, including helping people,” said Liverdos.

The pupil has consistently worked hard and she was applauded for her excellent work ethic throughout the year.

She said she lives by this quote: ‘Let your actions speak louder than your words and let your faith be larger than your fear’.

Liverdos said her parents taught her that hard work always pays off. They also showed her how to act with integrity and always to do the honourable thing.

The school principal JC Engelbrecht said he was very proud of the the pupils and wishes them all the best on their new journey.
