Cubby House Preschool children enjoy a fun spring day picnic at their school.

Schoolchildren from Cubby House Preschool enjoyed a lovely picnic in the garden to welcome in spring. Delicious snacks, cupcakes and ice cream were the order of the day.

One of the schoolchildren, Lizzy Siame said there are a number of things she loves about spring. She loves the clothes she can wear, playing outdoors and the warm weather.

“I learnt about what happens in spring, how flowers blossom and the beautiful plants in the garden,” said Siame.

Food was the order of the day for Jayden Hird, Yandani Mdlalose and Chase Cowen.
