After a day of protest and negotiations between Beagle Watch Armed Response and their reaction officers, a salary agreement was reached on 22 June. Many Beagle Watch reaction officers halted their daily activities on 22 June to demand an improved salary. After hours of protest and leaving their clients unprotected, management of the security company and protesting workers had come to an understanding.

Beagle Watch’s managing director Dave Casey ishappy to announce that a wage agreement has been reached and all reaction officers have returned to their duties.

By 23 June the security company was once again fully operational. Beagle Watch’s managing director, Dave Casey, said “Beagle Watch has always believed in fair remuneration and pays its officers well above the guidelines laid out in the Wage Determination Act. The company also offers excellent incentives schemes and has given away more than 20 cars as part of such incentives.”

Casey thanked the officers who reported for duty on the day, regardless of the threats and intimidation they faced. He also thanked Beagle Watch’s clients for the continued support during the protest as well as the police and other security companies in the area for their service and assistance.
