Police have been stationed at the scene since around 4am this morning, 9 September, on 7th Street, Melville.

Circumstances surrounding the unknown man’s death are sketchy at the moment, however, some witnesses allege he was beaten to death.
A section of 7th Street has been cordoned off and Brixton police are still on scene.
By 9am, the forensic team had already left the scene.
Police are awaiting for the mortuary van to arrive.
