Covid-19: Positive cases pass 400 000 mark

South Africa has past the 400 000 positive Covid-19 cases mark, with a total of 408 052 confirmed cases.

President Cyril Ramaphosa last night announced that schools would be closed for a month, in an attempt to see the country through the peak with the fewest possible casualties. The academic year will also have to continue into 2021, according to the President. Read more here.
