The department did remind the public that those interested in the vaccine will first need to register on the Electronic Vaccination Data System. Once registered they will receive a confirmation SMS telling them the details of their Covid-19 vaccination. They also reminded the public that the vaccine itself is voluntary and therefore no one should be forced to take one. The person will then need to arrive at the site with their identity document or passport number, residential address, cell phone number and medical aid number (if applicable).
