Seven people will appear in Randburg Magistrate’s Court today for the alleged murder of an elderly man who lived in Gillard Drive, Cresta.
The man’s residence was abuzz on April 26 when police were tipped off about him being buried there.
The K9 and forensic unit were on scene along with Linden police to find and recover the body which was buried in the garden.
Four suspects were arrested on the day and another three on the weekend of May 1.
One woman and six men will appear on charges of murder, theft of motor vehicle, fraud and theft general, said Linden police spokesperson Sergeant Takalani Sibiya.
