ADAM DOMBO: Crime in my area affects my free movement. Due to the high rate of housebreaking in our community, I am unable to travel far because I fear that they might break in and steal my furniture and appliances.

With various crimes running rampant in our communities, the Northcliff Melville Times headed out to
ask community members how crime affects them.

Here’s what they had to say…

GIVEN BALOYI: Crime is unsettling in our community. We are frightened to walk freely in the streets whether during the day or at night. I fear for my life and my loved ones. We ask the law to help us reduce crime.
