Do visitors to the Magistrates Court feel satisfied with their experience there?

We asked three people to let us know how they felt after being in the court precinct for a morning.

NORMA SIBANDA:| We spend so much money and take off work to come to court each time and then there is a delay or something which makes me angry. Things are always postponed.

The paper asked members of the public outside the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court if they felt comfortable with their experiences with the legal system.

Here is what they had to say…

THABANG MDLOLO: I’m frustrated because each time there is load-shedding the courtroom is closed which makes getting things finished take a long time.
PHUMLA NGUBANE:| Documents keep getting lost which then becomes our problem to get them again which is not fair, it is not our job to do this but we have to.
