SCP Security expands offerings which now includes a private fire, search and rescue vehicle

SCP Security responded to over 250 000 alarm signals and engaged in countless upliftment projects to benefit the communities they serve.

As most of the city prepares to shut down over the festive season, SCP Security will be working around the clock to keep their communities safe.

Owner of SCP Clive Maher says, “Just like Santa, every year we make a list (and check it twice) of benefits we can bring to our clients and we believe that safety is a gift we can all share.”

He says being in the security sector can be challenging but it is work he and his entire team do with pride and excellence. “We are always ready to respond swiftly to ensure the communities in which we serve are safe (those on the nice list) and preventing burglaries, thefts, and more (stopping those on the naughty list).”

To date for the year, they have responded to over 250 000 alarm signals, installed thousands of residential alarm monitoring systems, deployed hundreds of guarding services, and clocked countless hours of guarding shifts.
“Our friendly team has checked in on your fur kids and fed them while you were away. We’ve also visited your close family and friends to check on their status and handled special requests by elderly loved ones.”

Maher says their armed escort service has ‘followed you from the airport, ensuring you get to your destination and back home safely’.

“We’ve conducted free security risk impact assessments to make sure your family and property are fully protected, whether you are an SCP client or not.

“We’ve been by your side at the big events – and the small ones – so that you are never swept up in the crowd and we’ve also come to the rescue with our specialised private investigation services, including polygraph testing, criminal background checks, surveillance and more.”

It is safe to say it has been a busy 12 months, but Maher says one of the ‘best years yet’.

“Just in time for the most wonderful time of the year, we recently unwrapped our latest gift to the community – our private fire, search, and rescue division.

“While we can’t promise reindeers and a sleigh, we’ve gathered a team of real-life heroes who are always on standby, 24/7. Whether it’s tackling a fire, helping you find a missing person, or handling any other unexpected crisis, SCP Security’s private fire, search, and rescue division has got you covered.’

With nearly 700 000 Facebook followers, SCP Security has been the eyes and ears of the city as they post reliable and timely information. “Our Facebook page serves as a valuable resource for staying up to date on various topics, including crime updates, traffic news, and information about missing persons.”

Maher says they have taken their offering a step further by introducing their ‘innovative and enhanced mobile App with state-of-the-art features’.

“Of course, we’ve also invested in the power of spreading kindness. After all, at its core Christmas is a celebration of love. It’s a reminder that our greatest gifts aren’t found in boxes, but in the compassion and kindness we extend to others. We have invested in the power of spreading kindness – not just this month – but every month.

“Whether rallying together to clean up rivers, parks, or fields, to donating loaves of freshly baked bread to the needy, SCP Security is proud of all we’ve achieved through the ‘Let’s Work’ initiative and the hand we’ve had in enhancing our local communities.

“We are committed to making South Africa a safer, merrier place to celebrate this holiday season and beyond.
“Stay connected, stay safe, and enjoy a joyful and secure holiday season with SCP Security.”
