Its principal, Chrisna Jacobs explained that to mark this big milestone, the school had a week planned of fun activities with each day designated to a special theme. The week included days such as a; funky hair, shades and socks, colours of the rainbow, upside down to recyclable materials. Each day bringing with it the its own unique fun experience for all.
On the day of the anniversary (April 24), the school enjoyed added some delectable cupcakes and a lovely picnic to the day. The week’s pièce de résistance was the arrival of local private security company, SCP’s big red fire truck which really got the children excited as they got to explore, what would to be them, a huge vehicle.
As Jacobs sees it, the school is truly blessed to still be within the community even after 50 years, “Through Covid-19 a lot of pre-schools closed down. We are a beacon in the community, many people know us and we are proud to say we are Reënboogland.” Her hopes for the coming five decades is that the school continues to grow in all aspects and that they are able to send out confident little ones who not only know who they are but out into the world, showing off their own little rainbows, sharing that light and colour wherever they go.

Jacobs has been principal at the school since 2019 and in her time she hopes to impart in children Christian values that speak to her heart, and for them to each know just how important they are, “Also that whatever they come across in life that know who they are and that they have a good foundation of schooling and that they standout throughout their life.”
In previous years the school has also seen third generations attend the school just as their grandparents had before them.
