What effect does a seniors’ singalong have?

Attendees of Resonanze Music School's seniors' singalong share the ways in which this class has impacted their lives.

Resonanze Music School has incorporated a Seniors Singalong class that takes its attendees on a musical journey down memory lane.

Those who have attended the classes so far have had unique experiences through music.

A few take the time to share what its they have taken from their time of attending the singalongs.

Here is what they had to say:

Wallly Walton: It is a soothing experience and no effort to absorb all types of music whether one's favourites or not. To realise the immense variety of music and songs and sail back on the melody of a song to a time of youth and wonderful memories.

Gail Grobler Crichton: Although I’ve only attended a few times since the singalong started, I look so forward to it as music is so important in my life. The teacher reminds us of the many different genres and songs that brings back so many memories both good and sad. This makes us think about more songs from that various genres as well as trying to remember the words. I also love singing to music and dancing and I watch various live bands.
