One of the school’s art teachers, Jemma Coulson said it had been awesome to see how much these artists have grown and improved across all the different art forms.
“Alongside this, their individual projects showcase a diverse range of artistic exploration, including textured oil paintings, stunning landscape depictions, experimentation with fabric as a medium, and the detailed craft of lino cut printmaking. They also created beautiful watercolour landscapes,” she said, adding their confidence was growing with each artwork, and teachers loved seeing it.

For the school, it’s super important that their students not only learn the technical stuff but also have the freedom to figure out their creative direction. “We want them to be able to set their own artistic goals and then actually reach them.”
A huge part of that journey is getting students to venture into unfamiliar territory – explore mediums they might not be used to because that’s where they discover new talents and passions.
