According to a report shared with the paper by the private security company, they spent over two hours fighting the fire and managed to get it under control around 15:00. Clive Maher stated that upon their arrival, they initiated evacuation procedures. They then checked for any entrapments, after which teams deployed multiple hose lines and began extinguishing the fire.

There were no casualties reported; however, one dog is missing from the home. Maher is unsure if it perished in the fire, as they are currently unable to locate it.
