The operation, on August 20, involved female officers and administration clerks from the station, in conjunction with female wardens, CPF members, and security officers who showed their support in the fight against crime.

Vehicles were stopped and searched to check for firearms, illegal substances, possible stolen goods, and house breaking implements. Pamphlets regarding domestic violence and safety tips were also distributed, as part of the operation’s crime awareness campaign.
The station said motorists were thrilled with the operation, as most of them appreciated its purpose, saying it shows that women continue to take a leading role in protecting their communities.

The operation was fruitful as a total of 30 vehicles and 55 persons were searched. There were six arrests made, five illegal immigrants and a person found in possession of drugs.
