The event featured runners of various strengths, and was hit among its participants.

Making its epic debut on Sunday was the Boxer Super Run.

The 5km event featured four start waves, celebrating the diverse abilities of our city’s running community: Open wave, super social wave, elite women, and elite men.

No stranger to racing, Tyran, who ran for Boxer, is also an SA cross-country champion in his age group.

He ran passionately, just wanting to give the race his best shot.

Fellow participant, Wendy Valoyi, also known as the running tortoise, ran for the awareness of people living with physical disabilities, as well as mental health and chronic illnesses.

“The run was very fun,” she shouted, adding that this was her second run, and that she will continue to do so for those who cannot.
