As she enters the new year, she is grateful for the resilience of her community. “Despite service delivery challenges and frustrations, many residents continue to show patience and commitment to working together for progress.”

Her goal for 2026 is to strengthen community partnerships and improve service delivery responsiveness. All while seeing cleaner streets, safer spaces, and stronger collaboration between residents, city departments, and her office.

She is excited about planned community clean-up campaigns, youth development initiatives, and ongoing collaborations to improve infrastructure and safety in her neighbourhoods. She welcomes the new year with quiet reflection and prayer, giving thanks for the year behind and asking for wisdom and strength for the year ahead.

Lessons she learned from 2025 are that progress takes partnership, and that sustainable change happens when residents and leadership work hand in hand – with patience, consistency, and accountability.

She hopes the new year sees her continue to serve with transparency, empathy, and dedication.

“My focus will remain on listening, acting, and ensuring every resident feels seen and heard.”
