“Safety is our top priority, and regular drills like this are vital to making sure our school community knows exactly how to act in an emergency,” said principal Cristel Venter.
The school partnered with SCP, a stakeholder praised for its professionalism and commitment to safeguarding the approximately 2 000 people on campus. The company’s presence ensured the drill ran smoothly and reinforced the school’s duty of care.

The day also carried a personal touch as learner Kgothatso Chiwayo celebrated his birthday. Inspired to become a fireman one day, Kgothatso received a special surprise when SCP’s Clive Maher personally picked him up from home and brought him to school, allowing him to join the drill celebration.
