Gugulethu Ndlovu: I think this is the issue as a country that we don’t talk about enough - it is one politician jumping from one party to another because of greediness and power-hungry reasons.
The Northcliff Melville Times spoke to residents to gather their thoughts on coalition politics.
This is what they had to say:
Gugulethu Ndlovu: I think this is the issue as a country that we don’t talk about enough – it is one politician jumping from one party to another because of greediness and power-hungry reasons.Obakeng Molokomme: The coalition of government for me is a good thing, when one party fails it joins another one, and then rules together in power.James Drumgoole: I don’t have much thoughts about the issue of the coalition of government, but if am to form a point of view. I think it just a normal part of politics where politicians try to outshine their rivals by forming a pact.Thuso Tsieane: I don’t have much to say because I don’t understand the motive behind it, but I do see it taking us back as a country. That will mean the country will be ruled by the same people just from different parties.
