U-turn celebrates progress and plans for 2025

U-turn Homeless Ministries continues to make a difference in changing the narrative on homelessness in Johannesburg, and extends heartfelt gratitude with their exciting plans for the new year.

U-turn Homeless Ministries has issued a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shown unwavering support and kindness to the organisation and its champions, members of the work-readiness programme, throughout the year.
As the holiday season approaches, the team reflects on the impact of their work and looks forward to expanding their outreach in 2025.

Lindley April, U-turn’s Johannesburg manager, expressed gratitude for the community’s involvement. “We are incredibly thankful for the unfailing support that has allowed us to make a difference in the lives of so many individuals experiencing homelessness. Your kindness has been a beacon of hope.”

Looking ahead, U-turn aims to continue its growth by reaching more communities and equipping individuals with essential skills to overcome homelessness. April emphasised the organisation’s commitment to reintegrating unhoused members back into society. “In the coming year, we hope to see even more people leave the streets and become vital members of our community,” he added.
