Reading breakfast filled with wonder at Crossroads School
Crossroads School hosted a reading breakfast, which had children and parents sitting together enjoying the magic of books.
Multiple studies describe how reading to children helps boosts brain development, language acquisition, and literacy skills, all while fostering emotional intelligence, empathy, and creativity.

Taking these, and many other aspects, into consideration, Crossroads school hosted a reading breakfast for its learners, along with the lovely addition of their parents.

The school’s field and courtyard served as the perfect backdrop for parents and children to commune as they read stories together, transporting them to different worlds only the imagination can conjure.

The day also saw some families either dressing up as their favourite story book characters, or sporting red or white, to go with the theme of Valentine’s Day.
