The future is bright for Northcliff High matric as he ponders his future.

A wise word for the Class of 2023 – work hard and consistently during the year to achieve good results.

Patience Ndlovu was jubilant after finishing his final matric exam at Northcliff High School when he took the time to reflect on his year, and what the future holds.

I can’t believe it’s all over, I’m so happy, and relieved!

Matric was not at all what I was expecting. It was tough with a lot of pressure, but putting in the work is worth it at the end. It is not only hard graft but a lot of fun too, in between all the academia.

But I won’t lie, the exams were hard but manageable because I worked hard and pushed hard. But you can see some people struggled but maybe they didn’t do the work during the year. That’s my message for matrics next year, be consistent and work hard so you can also have fun without worrying.

I had a blast being in matric, especially being at Northcliff High. It was an amazing experience and I would not change it for the world.

I actually cried on the morning of my last exam because I was so sad to know I’ll not be coming back to school again. I love my school and all my friends I get to see every day, but it’s time to take the next step forward.

I hope to work in the arts next year, eventually do some travelling and then start my own business. I am not sure what yet, but I have big plans for my future. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
