After reading them, I have taken the issues up with my service delivery inspectors for those specific wards and had them carry out inspections so I could be fully au fait with the situations.

I then personally took up the issues with the respective Region B representative of municipal entities responsible for those areas of jurisdiction: Joburg water, Joburg City Parks and Joburg Roads Agency.

I am pleased to report that Joburg Water was on site on 10 October attending to the problematic hole on Beyers Naudé.

I am meeting with my Regional representatives from Joburg Water, City Parks and Joburg Roads Agency on Thursday 17 October where they will give feedback to me on the issues raised.
