Covid-19: Gauteng confirmed cases goes up to 865

The department confirmed that there have been 350 recoveries in the province.

The Gauteng Health Department has given a daily update of the confirmed positive Covid-19 cases and, as of 13 April, cases are now at 865. On 12 April cases were at 813, a confirmed increase of 52 cases.

Breakdown per district:

  • Johannesburg – 508
  • Tshwane – 101
  • West Rand – 30
  • Sedibeng – 8
  • Ekurhuleni – 141
  • Unallocated cases – 77

There have been 350 recoveries in Gauteng and three confirmed deaths.
