Fun maths activity: Colour by numbers

Maths can be intimidating for some children, which is why our easy colour by numbers template can help them along.

If your child hates maths, it’s time to put your creative hat on!

Have you ever heard the term “colour by numbers”? It’s exactly as it sounds: a simple artistic technique for creating drawings by following a predesigned number system. Each colour is assigned a number, so your child fills the colors corresponding to the number until their final picture emerges.

There are different colour by number templates online, with varying levels of complexity. We’ve chosen an easy rabbit template that’s suitable for children aged three and upwards.

Colour by numbers is an excellent art teaching tool for children, and it helps them learn numbers. Kids can learn basic math skills, addition and subtraction while colouring and having fun. Simply print out our template, give your child some pencils, and let them colour by numbers.
