It was a very pleasant day with good sportsmanship, fair referees and games well played. VHS learners looked very neat and presentable and held our name high with their exemplary behaviour.

Netball: u/14A 16-9; u/14B 6-10; u/15A 7-11; u/15B 6-19; u/16A 9-14; u/16B 11-14; 2nd 16-7 and 1st 12-26. Rugby: u/14A 0-32; u/15A 10-5; u/16A 10-25; 2nd 7-10 and 1st 29-5. Girls’ Hockey: u/16A 1-5; u/16B 0-3; u/14A 0-1; 2nd 0-2 and 1st 0-3. Boys’ Hockey: 1st 1-1; 2nd 7-0 and 3rd 1-3.

Vryheid High 1rgbDuzi Canoe Marathon: James Potgieter finished his second marathon with his uncle as his partner, in a time of 12hrs 36min, earning them a place of 368th out of 900 participants. They obtained a bronze medal. Well done James! Remember: You and your opponent want the same thing, the only thing that matters is who works the hardest for it!
