High water levels in Klip River, but safe from flooding for now

The water level in the Klip River is currently very high, as continuous rain comes down in Ladysmith and surrounding areas.

However, the river is not likely to burst its banks anytime soon.

At the moment, roads in Ladysmith are safe from flooding and authorities are monitoring the situation.
