Registered voters made their mark in the local government elections by voting today (November 1).

Voter traffic at some of the stations in Estcourt was slow this morning, while at others there was a brisk number of people.

All Covid-19 protocols are being adhered to, and this was praised by some of the voters that spoke to the Estcourt News.

Locals were in good spirits after casting their votes and each person echoed the other when they said that they wanted to use their vote to see change in Estcourt and surrounding areas, with a focus on upping service delivery.

Voting stations close at 21:00.
