How to nominate your favourite business for ‘Best of Newcastle’

Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how readers can nominate their favourite businesses for the Best of Newcastle Readers' Choice Awards.

How to nominate your favourite business

The Best of Newcastle nominations phase is now open, giving you the opportunity to help your favourite business stand a chance of winning this year.

Any business that receives at least one nomination will move on to the voting phase. Previous nominees are already listed in the subcategories for convenience, but they must be nominated again for the 2026 awards.

When nominating franchises or businesses with multiple branches, be sure to include the specific branch name (for example, Henrys SPAR rather than just SPAR).

If you cannot find your preferred business listed, simply select ‘New Nomination’ and type the name into the text box provided.

You may nominate as many businesses as you like, across as many categories as you wish.
