Another taxi boss has been gunned down in Northern KZN.

A week after the horrific N11 shooting claimed the life of a taxi boss and 11 others, .Sibusiso Nkomonde, 66, a member of the Isizwe taxi association , was shot and killed by unknown persons while on his way home near the Vaalbank area, between Dannhauser and Newcastle, on Sunday evening.

Mr Nkomonde had survived earlier assassination attempts.

Mzonjani Magagula a of Madadeni taxi association was killed earlierĀ this year. In 2015 , Khuzi Khumalo was shot and killed in his home in Madadeni by men who later had charges withdrawn against them.

Taxi owners Sipho Mlotshwa, Gabangaye Mpofu and Bhekani Dladla were also shot and killed when taxi related violence erupted two years ago.
No arrests have been made following the shooting of Mr Nkomonde
