Dundee Junior excels in Young Scientists expo

DJS are extremely proud of the DJS Expo for Young Scientists participants. The three learners who received a Highly Recommended award are: Conré Wagner (Gr 6), Caitlin Mulligan (Gr 7) and Chantelise Gerlach (Gr 7).
Taashlin Soobramoney (Gr 6) received Bronze and Marné du Toit, as well as Susan Gregory and Heinrich Grobler received silver for their projects. Susan and Heinrich also received a special prize in their category.
The following learners received Gold as well as a special prize in their categories: Isak Müller and Hein Müller, Mumtaz Malek and Dian Bierbaum. The awards for Mumtaz Malek did not stop there, she also received the most Creative and Helpful to Society award for her project which was aimed at helping the hard of hearing.
DJS is also very proud to say that five DJS learners where chosen to go to the National EXPO competition in Boksburg. They are: Isak and Hein Müller, Mumtaz Malek, Dian Bierbaum and Marné du Toit.
