Vryheid Bowling Club – Spring Tournament a smashing success

VRYHEID Bowling Club held a very successful annual Spring Tournament on September 6 and 7.

The club committee would like to thank all the sponsors and participating teams, without whom we could not have had such a successful weekend. 
We congratulate the winners: Collin van der Westhuizen, Dave Kay, John Peach and Ballie Bezuidenhout, the SAP Team from Pietermaritzburg. In second place, Nan and Louwrens Roos from Dundee and Barbara and Oscar Baleri from Ladysmith. Third was Bill Kruse and his team from Eshowe/Dundee. Lorraine Vincent and her team from Vryheid/Richardsbay finished fourth.
Our fantastic liquor hamper, sponsored by LMS Brokers, was won by Gerhard Balzer. We hope you have one great party. 
The bowling bag, sponsored by Gloria Garbutt, went to Chris Fisher. Our AGM is coming up on Wednesday, September 24, at 5:00pm.
