Embracing the wholesale advantage, thousands of shoppers flocked to Value City for its grand opening on November 14.

With plenty of prizes up for grabs and entertainment second to none, the atmosphere was electrifying.

Shoppers who spent R400 or more were automatically entered into a instant draw. Prizes ranging from microwaves to linen were awarded to those with Lady Luck on their side.

Colourful characters from Ben 10 and Frozen moved throughout the store as a special treat for young customers.

Jitterbugs frolicked under the snow machine without a care in the world as their parents browsed through packed shelves.

Value City staff members successfully choreography a routine performed by gifted Zulu dancers. A star-struck crowd looked on with bated breath, in awe of their rhythmic movements.

Away from the hustle and bustle, a jumping castle and stalls were set up in the parking lot. In addition, the sound department demanded attention bang-up tunes.

Judging by facial expressions alone, the overall success of the event was evident. With extended store space, and leading brands at the lowest prices, it’s clear Value City is here to stay.
