Working hand in hand for a better tomorrow

Newcastle Sakekamer hosted a gala dinner for members on November 13.

The event took place at Blackrock Casino, with several local stakeholders making their presence known.

Sakekamer President, Japie Myburgh welcomed guests, and thanked all those who were able to attend.

Local singer/songwriter, Ruan Nel took on the role as DJ, playing classical ballads during the intervals.

Chief Executive Officer of the Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut (AHI) Business Networks, Doctor Ernest Messina, was the guest speaker on the night.

Since taking the position of CEO on August 1, Dr Messina endeavoured to take the organisation to even greater heights.

Dr Messina has been involved in the AHI, serving in various capacities for the past 15 years; his wealth of knowledge evident from his insightful speech.

With the purpose of creating sustainable prosperity, the forum vowed to work together for the benefit of the greater community.

“Nothing works, unless you make it work,” concluded Sakekamer member, Jan Smith.
