Oh come all ye faithful…

With the sound of Christmas carols under the starry night skies, Newcastillians convened at Amajuba Mall, on December 13.

Under the auspices of Newcastle Ministers’ Fraternity, the Cross Roads Band created a peaceful atmosphere where everyone present joined in, singing Christmas carols.

The purpose of the evening was to break barriers and have all the different churches of Newcastle get together to send a message of peace, love and hope.

This was the first of many events, hoping it would be held annually, said the coordinator Pastor Desmond Naidoo.

“Light is needed in the darkness. No matter how tough times might seem now, there will always be a ray of light and a glimmer of hope,”he concluded.
