Beauties bring big bag of blessings

We all need a little love, whether we are young or old.

On Sunday, the Miss Newcastle hopefuls embarked on a three-fold journey to spread some cheer to residents of all ages.

The contestants began at La Gratitude Home for the Aged.

Elderly residents were left beaming, as the models spent some time handing out chocolate eggs to make their weekend super-sweet.

It was then over to the paediatric ward at Mediclinic Newcastle.

The contestants met a number of young patients between posing for photographs and handing out sweet treats.

The final stop of the weekend was Morester Home Meah.

Young residents of the home received Easter eggs from the models who oohed and aahed as they interacted with the children.
