Black whiskey rocks out in Melo’s

Vryheid band, Black Whiskey entertained music fanatics at Melo’s Pub & Grill on Friday, April 22.

Melo’s was packed to capacity as residents from Newcastle and surrounding areas showed up to support local talent. With an extensive repertoire, the band had people rocking it out until the late hours of the evening.

Band members, Phillip du Plessis, Kelvin Bland and Estruun Fritze thanked Melo’s for always supporting them and allowing them to ‘jam out’ at their bar.

“Thank you, as well as all the people who showed up and supported us. The love and amazing turnout really mean the world to us,” said lead member, Mr du Plessis.
