Sentraal go down to Piet Retief

Sentraal's next home game is scheduled against Vryheid on Saturday, April 29

Sentraal lost to Piet Retief in an ill-disciplined match on Saturday, going down 12-24 at the Dundee High School grounds.
Sentraal were not happy with the referees who blew the whistle in both the first and second teams games although, admittedly, the second team was outplayed in all departments, going down 0-31.
Sentraal’s players learnt that querying referees will not help.
He will not change his mind and the players should save their energy for the game.
Despite this, many in the second team gave all they had right to the end with Kevin Ntanzi being voted man of the match among the backs and Phungula Lindo taking the honours among the forwards.

Sentraal Rugby’s management has appealed to all players and spectators, to please stop using verbal abuse towards match officials.

The first side game was a tough encounter where discipline was the main reason for defeat and the sooner Sentraal realised that fifteen players against fifteen players stand a better chance than fourteen against fifteen, the better.
Daniel Halforty and Henk Booysen scored Sentraal’s two tries. Pierre Booysen converted one.
Waldo Herbst was the man of the match in the forwards and Shaun among the backs.
