Blackrock Casino provides world class entertainment
Ending the night on a high note was legendary entertainer Ray Dylan, who stole the show with some of his classic ballads and covers.
Music lovers enjoyed world class entertainment at the Blackrock Casino Conference Hall on May 27.
In association with The Legacy Events, Blackrock Casino hosted ‘A Night of Music’ with sensational artists Ray Dylan, Sharoney, and Cordelia.
Fans in attendance got to sing along to some of the classics from these popular musicians. The first musician to serenade the crowd was Sharoney, who warmed the audience with her classic Afrikaans ballads that have made her a formidable force in the industry.
Following strongly was fellow Afrikaans hit maker Cordelia, who kept them entertained and dancing along to her hits.

He has released nine albums to date, and is the recipient of a South African Music Award (SAMA) for ‘Best Country Album of the Year’, for his 2009 album, Goeie Ou Country.
Patrons received a complimentary drink and sat back to enjoy a night to be remembered. They also had the opportunity to purchase CDs and have them autographed by the artists.
“We are truly honoured to have played host to Ray Dylan, Sharoney, and Cordelia. This concert was yet another memorable event at Blackrock Casino. It was overwhelming to witness music lovers braving the Newcastle cold to sing and dance the night away with the musicians. We will be hosting more events of this stature in the upcoming months,” said Siyabonga Miya, Promotions Coordinator of Blackrock Casino.
