Majuba Tent Pegging Club hosted an action-packed competition on Saturday at the Show Grounds.
Far from a regular equestrian event however, the competition was elevated by the presence of Pakistani prince, Malik Ata Muhammed Khan, who is also Vice-President of the International Tent Pegging Federation.
Prince Malik Ata is well-respected in equestrian circles worldwide.

He travelled to South Africa to spend some time with close friend John Coetzee, another equestrian icon and local legend, who celebrated his birthday at the weekend.
The tent pegging competition also heralded this milestone.
After a formal opening parade on horseback, senior and junior riders competed in a number of disciplines incorporating lances, swords and other weapons.
Results for the event were not available at the time of going to print.
However, the day was concluded with a prize giving function, plus a dinner and dance with live music from local artists Ruan Nel, Anton Fitchat and Monica Johnson.
All riders are congratulated on their efforts throughout the day.
