SPORT: Golfers form a strong alliance
A reasonable field of golfers arrived at the club, eager to get the FedAuto Four Ball Alliance competition underway in perfect conditions.
Kilbarchan Golf Club hosted a competitive team competition on Saturday.
A reasonable field of golfers arrived at the club, eager to get the FedAuto Four Ball Alliance competition underway in perfect conditions.

The weather was a perfect combination of sun and breeze.
Golfers set off in their respective four balls (teams of four), and took on each hole with enthusiasm punctuated by streaks of brilliance.
The winners were as follows:
James Bonthuyzen, Robbie Niemann, Trevor Botha and Jan Venter clinched first position overall.
Second place went to the team of Herman Hugo, Johan Hugo, Heinrich Theunissen and Arthur Maartens.
Joe Filipe, Sias Weyers, Francois Weyers and Lukas Meyer ended in third.
Congratulations to these golfers on a perfect round.
