Cyclists excel at Vulintaba Extreme day two – Results and prize-giving – (Gallery)

Congratulations to the winners of the Vulintaba Extreme Cycling Challenge, which took place on Sunday, April 1.

Cyclists faced either a 20km, a 60km or a 100 km road cycle, while enduring cold, windy and rainy weather conditions.

Despite this fact, cyclists pushed through and did their best to secure the top spot in their respective divisions.

The results were calculated and the winners were as follows:

20km Under 9 Division:

First place – Liam Joubert.

20 km Under 11 Division:

First place – Jeandrè Ras.

20km Under 13 Division:

First place – Kevin Moolman.

60km Under 15 Division:

First place – Jordan Bald.

60km Under 17 Women’s Division:

First place – Chloe Batson

Second place – Sarah Ryan

Third place – Taylor Monroe.

100km Under 17 Men’s Division:

First place – Travis Steadman.

80km Junior Women’s Division:

First place – Tiffany Keep.

100km reduced to 60km Junior Men Division:

First place – Jean Lebridge

Second place – Grant Miller

Third place – Alvin Bronkhorst.

Under 23 Elite Men’s Division:

First place – Nico Bell

Second place – Gawie Combrink

Third place – Ryan Harris.

Veteran Women 30-49 Division:

First place – Carla Oberholzer

Second place – Joanna van de Winkel

Third place – Lynette Burger.

Veteran Men 30-49 Division:

First place – Jaco Cronjè

Second place – AC Swanepoel.

Third place – Michael Viljoen.

Veteran Women 50-59 Division (100km reduced to 60km):

First place -Heather Watson.

Veteran Men 59-59 Division (100km reduced to 60km):

First place – Gwyn Pine

Second place – Frederick Wentson

Third place – Gavin Holder.

Veteran Men 50-59 Division (60km):

First place – Marco de Boer.

Under 23 Elite Women’s Division (100km reduced to 60km):

First place – Michelle Benson

Second place – Andrea de Boer

Third place – Lora Burns.

Women’s Overall Winners:

Fist place – Carla Oberholzer

Men’s Overall Winners:
