Parkrun participants power along the Grey Goose paths

From toddlers to senior citizens and canine members of the family, everyone joined in this fun way of getting into shape.

If the early bird catches the worm, then these bright-eyed fitness enthusiasts were eager for their weekly does of action at the parkrun.

While dedicated runners religiously attend in their numbers, novices found themselves warmly welcomed by the parkrun competitors.

The first signs of an approaching winter chill made an appearance on the day, but this did not deter participants.

Approximately 180 people took part in the parkrun, with most determined to beat their previous best times.
